Mackenzie is nothing short of amazing!! From the start, she was friendly, informative, patient, quick to reply, thorough and an absolute joy to work with. She is also so passionate about her work and it shows in the way she goes above and beyond for her clients. For that I could not recommend her enough. By chance, I came across Mackenzie’s Instagram and saw that she was hosting a giveaway shoot in Boise so I gave it a shot and to my surprise I won!! When Mackenzie messaged me the wonderful news and asked me what I was looking for in a photoshoot, I asked for a cozy wintery vibe for me, my boyfriend and our dog in the fresh Idaho snow. I also told her that we are pretty new to Boise, had no clue for a location and have never had photos taken of us before. Mackenzie quickly sent over inspos, ideas, several beautiful locations and a link to her super detailed style guide. After sharing a few inspo photos of the vibe I wanted, she recommended Bogus Basin, in which she had 3 spots in mind! Mackenzie is so dedicated to her work that when she’s not taking gorgeous photos, she’s out there scouting for new sceneries. She shared photos, super detailed descriptions, tips and even road/weather conditions. I felt extra prepared with her help. And the shoot!! The photoshoot was such a fun adventure with Mackenzie and Lane! We went to three uniquely different locations within gorgeous Bogus Basin. The weather reports were a bit off, because to all of our surprise we got caught in the middle of a blizzard pretty much! Mackenzie was such a champ, and an absolute professional with her camera. She made sure we felt safe and comfortable and was totally ok shooting through the rapid snowfall. Which along with Mackenzie’s variety of cute af posing cues for us, made for such beautiful photos. Special thanks to Lane who helped keep our pup entertained while we took our parent photos lol. They are seriously dynamic duo power couple vibes! On top of it all, Mackenzie sent previews literally that evening. I was blown away! When we saw the full gallery less than 2 weeks later, I was in tears. She captured our love so authentically and beautifully. The colors were timeless and complemented us in such a cohesive way. What Mackenzie created for us is something we’ll cherish forever. I can’t wait to work with her again. Thank you so so much Mackenzie! You are a true artist and the embodiment of genuine passion. 1000/1000 would recommend! <3
